Effective Presentations and the Use of Media

Presented by SwitchMe and Taipan

This portion of the course will focus on the use of various instructional media that alternative lifestyle presenters can use.  Technology is an area that has been underutilized in alternative lifestyle conferences.  The purpose of this course is to introduce technology and other media as a tool for instruction and assessment in a learning environment.  These skills can be used to present ideas and concepts in a way that the learner will find easy to understand.  The outcome of this class should provide the learner with another approach to teach skills and ideas that will enhance and facilitate the learning process.

This course offers attendees an opportunity to develop their abilities as instructors par excellence.  The section on Effective Presentations will guide students through the process of dissecting and constructing an effective presentation, and will provide a foundation on which individuals can deliver their material in the best and most effective manner through an interactive process using their own course materials.

Attendees will develop strategies to determine if learning is taking place in their presentations and workshops.
